Turquoise at days end
holds in abeyance dark blue
highlighting a diamond necklace
that can be seen but not felt.
When turquoise is defeated
dark blue of night dominates.
A diamond necklace composed of stars appears
to be seen and felt the by the senses.
But wishes are not reality
the future is not now
and diamonds are a facade.
Reality can't touch the necklace.
Because antiquation exists in the present
bogged down by the banality
of the existing leadership
who can't touch the stars.
